if it matters..

then by all means, embrace it! i mean, why the fuck not? lets think a moment about what it means to be embraced. to really feel absorbed by someone or something. it sure doesn't happen often enough.

we like to think that if we hold out long enough, our destiny will find us. but this simply is not the case.if you sit on your ass and do nothing then nothing is sure to come. we have to be mobile if we want to go somewhere or DO something. and in order to embrace? well you have to move..

move until i reach the sand
as i touch and breathe
i grab your hand

i close my eyes and concentrate
until my heart is full and straight..

my hands are bloody and my body sore
but i took it on without fear or force

swallowed quick and watched you fall
then caught you before you hit the floor

i invited you in and i'm glad i did
