why but where and how?

i skip thoughts like stones
over the cerebrospinal fluid waters.
my heart skips beats as i palpitate the rhythm of what was once my song.
my song.
i sang it over and over until the vinyl split and the record player scratched.
how does one overcome this daunting presence? this elephant that stomps around the room?
we tend to mount the shoulders, you know what? never mind all that.

if what i want is love and love is music and music is, well, everything. then i'm not too far off from an epiphany. an exploding moment of clarity! a life altering mindgasm that changes my entire point of view. these notes that transpire and orbit my head will eventually find their way into a melody that will evoke the lyrics to what might be..my heart in perpetual bliss.
